In the House of Representatives ; Resolution : resolved, that the Secretary of the Department of Commerce and Labor be, and he is hereby, respectfully requested, if not incompatible with the public interests, to send to the House of Representatives any information in his possession relative to the introduction of foreign laborers into the State of South Carolina ; February 5, 1907, referred to the Committee on Immigration and Naturalization and ordered to be printed : Mr. Gardner, of Massachusetts, submitted the following resolution : resolved, that the Secretary of the Department of Commerce and Labor be, and he is hereby, respectfully requested, if not incompatible with the public interests, to send to the House of Representatives any information in his possession relative to the introduction of foreign laborers into the State of South Carolina
